Requirements for a Trip to Spain

To satisfy the ETIAS Spain standards, travelers must provide a valid biometric passport. Since 2010, the US government has issued biometric passports, and practically everyone is eligible. In most cases, further paperwork isn’t required. The passport fees can be paid with a credit or debit card. You will receive updates to the email address provided when you fill out the form. Your passport must be valid for the entirety of your trip in Spain or any other Schengen member country. If your US passport expires while the ETIAS is still valid, you must obtain a new travel authorization using the renewed passport. ETIAS cannot be moved between passports because it is tied to an electronic chip.
